Open-Ended Interactivity
Interactives allow students to test and verify theorems in open ended environments. We’ve included games, 3D simulations, puzzles, questions, and experiments, all of which allow students to observe and experience what happens when they change the parameters of the environment.
Step-by-Step Guided Practice
Our guided practice embedded in each separate module provides students with in depth step-by-step support for approaching and successfully solving problems. We believe that students often learn more from their mistakes, which is why we allow them to proceed one step at a time. If they get one step wrong, they can correct their mistake and continue solving the problem without giving the final answer away.
Vernacular Voiceover
Not all students have the same fluency in English. That’s ok. Students can listen to MarkSharks in their vernacular language, including Bahasa, Hindi, Punjabi, and Tamil.
Customized Assessements
Customized assessement allows educators to create customized assessments to their students. Educators receive real time student performance data once the assessments have been submitted, allowing them to quickly address misconceptions in class.
Live E-Classes
Our expert math and science tutors lead live classes covering all the topics in the NCERT syllabus. Students can receive live doubt support and get help with problem solving strategies. All classes are recorded, so sessions are available from our app after class.
Adaptive Post-Tests
Post-tests are self-evaluations at the end of each chapter. Students can measure their own progress and determine what concepts they need to revise. The adaptive algorithm means that students are challenged appropriately. In other words, students performing well will gradually be given more difficult questions and vice-versa if they are struggling.
Revision Tool and Glossary
The revision tool is essentially an encyclopedia within the app. All the terms in the NCERT syllabus are covered with explanations, equations, illustrations, and links back to screens where the theory is covered in the chapter.
Advanced Analytics
Our analytics allow both students and parents to view important information, including usage time and performance data. Analyzing this data can help both students and parents determine which areas students need to revise and for how long.

Live classes enable tutors and students to connect by video on the MarkSharks app. Tutors have a full range of tools to use, including sharing MarkSharks content, annotating their screen, and creating polls.
The School Quiz
The School Quiz gives tutors the ability to create customized assessments for their students. Tutors receive real time student performance data so they can quickly address misconceptions in class.
Attendance
The attendance feature automatically keeps track of which students have attended class. It also keeps track of the length of time students have been in class, allowing tutors to hold students accountable.
